If you take the bus from Landmannalaugur to Skaftafell NP, you'll pass an area called Eldgja. There is a beautiful waterfall, the Ofaerufoss, situated in between impressive volcanic mountains on both sides.
There used to be a natural bridge over the second cascade of the waterfall, but due to heavy snow it broke off a couple of years ago. Nevertheless it's still one of icelands most beautiful waterfalls.
