USA - Wakulla Springs State Park, Florida
Just south of Tallahassee, FL is Wakulla Springs SP, a huge spring within a swamplike vegetation. The special thing about that swamp is, that the water is freshwater and therefore so clear, that you can see all the way down to the ground, which is sometimes more than 20 yards away. The wildlife of the park is sensational, featuring many different kinds of birds, turtles and, of course, alligators. I would recommend to take a boattour on the swamp. It's very cheap (around $5 for 45 minutes) and the only way to see the wildlife closeup. If you're lucky you might even see alligators waiting on the ground (under water!) for food, an awesome sight! I didn't even know that alligators can do that...
