Location: 80 miles west of Savannah, Georgia
Features: swamp-like vegetation
This state park is a good example for the swamp vegetation of the old south as you can see it in Florida, Georgia and Louisiana for example. You can explore the swamp of the park by boat or feet. There is a longer and shorter hike through the woods around the lake, which are quite interesting in summer. In winter, the vegetation is too spare to be impressive enough.
