Although this beach is not suitable for swimming it makes a perfect picknick spot. Situated at the wet eastern side of the Piton de la Fournaise, many small waterfalls cascade through lush vegetation directly into the ocean. The steep shoreside is heavily covered with plants and trees making the beach a beautiful location.
